Chottanikkara Bhagavathy Temple History

Chottanikkara Bhagavathy temple is on the oldest temple in Kerala. The age of the temple is nearly 1500 years old, which was built by kannappan a forest dweller.

Goddess in the chottanikkara temple is worshiped in three forms as in the morning goddess is worshiped as Saraswathi, in the afternoon as Lakshmi whereas in the evening Durga. This Temple is widely known for curing diseases.
